Healthy Start Darwin is happy to announce that we have recently been given $10000 funding from Royal Darwin Hospital and support from their team. This grant also establishes a partnership with the hospital. We hope this new alliance will aid us in achieving a sustainable program in Darwin. The money is intended to go towards future refugee programs.
Volunteers from RDH including Doctors, Nurses, Midwives, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Dieticians, Other Allied Health and also Health Students will work with newly arrived Refugee clients to teach about preventative health topics using interpreters.
